The background:
Halsall delivered a brand-new facility for Gulfstream Jets, built alongside Farnborough Airport specifically for servicing and repair works on Gulfstream Jets. The world class facility has been created from initial concept to final delivery. A new LV supply was installed to the building, which was later requested by the client to be upgraded to an HV supply once the full electrical loads were realised as the project developed. New LV panels were installed in the main switch room which fed sub-distribution boards and in turn local distribution boards throughout all areas including “The Customer Tower”- a 3 storey office area includes a stunning visitor platform overlooking the runway.

- Main Hanger was lit to 1000lux
- Holds approx. £1.2Billion pounds worth of equipment, housing 12-13 aircraft
- Major focus on health and safety
- Implemented and installed a Sprinkler Deluge System operated by a double knock fire alarm system to provide approx. 2.2million litres of extinguishing foam in the event of a fire
- Clean Painting Booth areas
